​After having children she decided to apply for a job at a local garden centre where she continued to increase her plant knowledge. Whilst there she started a small cut flower garden at her mum's house and from there, decided she wanted to pursue a career in floristry and flower farming. So she left her job and went back to college. She graduated with distinction and thereafter worked in several different shops to gain experience before setting up her own business.

Over the years her business has had to learn to adapt. She started with a small flower stall outside her home, which due to unforeseen circumstances had to be withdrawn. This made selling flowers all the more difficult. Despite this slight inconvenience Behind Every Bouquet continued to provide it's customers with outstanding flowers and has managed to achieve 100s of 5 star reviews.

In 2025, pursuing her passions Stephanie made the decision to specialise in seasonal floristry, workshops, weddings and events. She no longer sells single order flowers.​​​
